One of very few organic Scotch whiskies available on the market, this whisky is certified Organic from start to finish, meeting rigorous UK Soil Association standards for growing the ingredients, distillation, maturation and bottling. Unique on launch in 2006, they use specially selected virgin oak casks for maturation.
It’s aroma is delightfully sweet and malty at first with notes of vanilla, toffee and banana influences coming through. Creamy pepper and sweet fruit flavours, particularly ripe bananas. Add a trickle of water to release a sweet chilli spice and tropical fruit flavours, which are then balanced a dark chocolate edge.
