Kilchoman 'Port Cask Matured' 2024 Release 50%
The 2024 limited edition Kilchoman Port Cask Matured has arrived, the latest in the distillery's ongoing series of fortified wine cask matured whisky. Fully matured in ex-Ruby Port casks, the aroma opens with red berries, figs and citrus zest, moving to smoked spices (paprika) and ashy peat. On the palate, an initial burst of sweet stewed strawberries is followed by dense charcoal smoke, with these flavours coming in waves through the finish. A clever balance of cask and spirit.
