Founded in 2014 by acclaimed independent bottlers Adelphi, the Ardnamurchan Distillery's hold a very special place in our hearts here at Whisky Galore.
The remote peninsula the distillery calls home is the most westerly point of the UK and is famous for its untouched rugged beauty. The team at Ardnamurchan Distillery are naturally very keen to preserve their pristine surroundings. As such all the power and heat requirements for the distillery come from local renewables making Ardnamurchan Scotland's Greenest Distillery. Ardnamurchan is also the first Scottish distillery to adopt the use of blockchain technology to provide an incorruptible ledger of its complete supply and production chain. This ledger is available by scanning the QR code on the bottle, and offers a fully transparent diary of each bottle’s field to bottle journey.
