Situated just north of Glenrothes in Speyside, on the river Spey is perhaps one of the areas lesser known distilleries, Speyburn [speyburn]. The Speyburn style is that of a classic Speyside - malty, orangey and with a hint of sherry cask matured character, it is also noted for its touch of smoke in the background. The 10 year old is well priced and presented in a bespoke bottle with cardboard gift box.
