Lochlea '5 years old' 50%
This expression is the first expression from Lochlea Farm Distillery to carry an age statement. It has been matured for five years in a parcel of five hand selected casks, two of which date to Lochlea's first ever cask filling in August of 2018. the parcel is made up of two first fill ex Boubon Barrels, one first fill ex Oloroso sherry butt, one double matured ex Pedro Ximinez butt and one double matured ex Oloroso butt. There are notes of lush red grapes, raisins, lemon zest and pear cruble, along with hints of cracked black pepper and touches of delicate rose petals.
