GlenAllachie 35 years old 48%
Sitting inside its hand-carved wooden presentation box lies the oldest core release from the GlenAllachie distillery, matured for 35 years in the heart of Speyside, Scotland. Dating back to 1989, only six casks were used by Billy Walker, master distiller, to create this new expression.
NOSE:
Waves of mocha, cinnamon, heather honey and pineapple, with hints of raisins, pomegranate and eucalyptus.
TASTE:
Layers of dark chocolate, mocha, raisins and dried fruit, fusing with heather honey, treacle and pineapple, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
Of the 1,700 bottles produced, only two of these special bottles are available in New Zealand.
